Ravien Sidhu

Ravien joined Hammerco as an associate in 2026, primarily practicing in commercial litigation. She has represented clients in both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Ravien grew up in Abbotsford, BC, before moving to Victoria to obtain her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria.  She then pursued her Juris Doctor in Australia, and subsequently completed a Master of Laws at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. While pursuing her Master’s degree, Ravien was actively involved in the Law Student Advice Program, providing guidance and legal support to low-income individuals.

Ravien began her law career in Vancouver and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2025. She offers pragmatic legal advice and brings a broad commercial and civil litigation practice informed by experience across a variety of practice areas. Ravien has experience in alternative dispute resolution strategies, appearing on behalf of clients in meditations. She has also chaired two trials, where she developed strong litigation strategy and trial management skills. Ravien is particularly drawn to commercial litigation because she enjoys the complex nature of these disputes and helping clients navigate challenging legal issues. Her practice reflects a
commitment to advocating for clients and finding effective, practical solutions.

In addition to English, she is fluent in Punjabi, allowing her to assist clients in both languages.
