Sexual Assault Litigation
Chanèle is an associate in Hammerco’s class actions and civil sexual assault practice areas.
She represents plaintiffs in class actions, mass torts, and complex litigation, including consumer protection, institutional liability, and civil sexual assault cases.
Chanèle combines rigorous advocacy with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who have experienced trauma and approaches each client’s situation with empathy and respect.
As part of her commitment to advancing access to justice for survivors, Chanèle co-founded LISA (“Legal Information for Sexual Assault”), a volunteer program that provides free and confidential legal information to those who have experienced sexual assault or abuse and who are currently residing in London-Middlesex County, Ontario. As part of the executive team, she acts as supervising lawyer and is also involved in volunteer hiring, training, and program development.
Chanèle was born in Québec City and is fluent in French. In her spare time, you can find her trying out new recipes, or playing ultimate frisbee and Dungeons and Dragons with friends.
