Kevin Yee

Kevin Yee is a dedicated trial lawyer. He works closely with his clients to ensure that they are well-informed and at ease throughout their civil disputes. Kevin works hard to secure fair and just results for his clients.

Kevin has successfully advocated for his clients at many levels of court and tribunals. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Provincial Court of British Columbia, British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. Prior to joining Hammerberg Lawyers, Kevin practiced at a downtown Vancouver firm as an injury defence lawyer for six years where he gained valuable litigation experience as well as an in-depth knowledge of ICBC’s defence strategies.

Kevin enjoys writing about his experiences in litigation. He is a long-time columnist for the local newspaper The Georgia Straight. He also writes for the legal profession. His articles have been featured in publications for the Canadian Bar Association and the British Columbia Paralegal Association.

Kevin speaks Cantonese and regularly represents members of the Chinese community. In his free time, Kevin enjoys hiking around the North Shore and Squamish, playing hockey, and spending time with family.
