Following our success defending an appeal from WestJet to overturn certification, Hammerco entered into mediation with WestJet in late 2023. A tentative settlement was achieved at mediation, and on October 11, 2024, Hammerco achieved a court-approved settlement.
There is a 30-day appeal period for the settlement order, which ends on November 11, 2024.
