Fraser Health is asking clients of Burnaby’s Fab-Skin Care Clinic who received vaginal tightening services to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases.
According to this article in The Province, the clinic wasn’t offering the services through a registered health professional and no infection-control measures were in place. Following complaints made to the RCMP in 2019, an employee at the clinic has now been charged with two counts of sexual assault with a weapon.
The RCMP are appealing for people with information to contact their investigators at 604-646-9511.
If you have concerns after attending Fab-Skin Care Clinic for treatment, our team of legal professionals, including Managing Partner, Morgyn Chandler, are available to answer any questions that you may have and to advise on your legal options.
