Fraser Health is asking clients of Burnaby’s Fab-Skin Care Clinic who received vaginal tightening services to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases.
According to this article in The Province, the clinic wasn’t offering the services through a registered health professional and no infection-control measures were in place. Following complaints made to the RCMP in 2019, an employee at the clinic has now been charged with two counts of sexual assault with a weapon.
The RCMP are appealing for people with information to contact their investigators at 604-646-9511.
If you have concerns after attending Fab-Skin Care Clinic for treatment, our team of legal professionals, including Managing Partner, Morgyn Chandler, are available to answer any questions that you may have and to advise on your legal options.
Hammerco is proud to announce that Partner Krista Simon has been appointed a member of the Judicial Council of the Tsawwassen First Nation for a five-year term.
Billed as “enhanced care” for British Columbians by the government, BC citizens are finding out too late that ICBC’s no-fault insurance falls short of providing adequate care for those injured in car accidents.
Hammerco's Managing Partner Morgyn Chandler is included in the 2024 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, Canada's most comprehensive guide to legal talent.
