Giving Back

Because we care.

Our efforts to support thriving local communities are as important to us as our work in the courtroom. Hammerco lawyers and staff regularly volunteer and are deeply involved in neighbourly activities that help us enhance our perspectives.

We are fortunate to be able to work with charities, youth groups, and community organizations to spread hope and cheer throughout the year.

We marked our 20th anniversary with the “Year of Giving”.

Our staff were delighted to donate time and money to three worthy charities.

We are advocates for fairness in the justice system.

We work closely with pro bono programs in B.C. to raise awareness about the need for greater legal aid funding for individuals with low to modest incomes, including people experiencing homelessness. Access to justice is everyone’s right.

Holiday giving is one of our favourite traditions.

Each year our lawyers and staff donate toys and hampers to children and families in need and participate in festive community events.

Over the years we have supported many charities including Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Province Empty Stocking, Canuck Place, the Christmas Hamper Fund, and The Rise Women’s Legal Centre.
