Dedicated nurse compensated over $500,000 after ICBC injury trial

Hammerco Lawyers Krista Simon and Kaitlin Pierce have successfully secured over $500,00 for our client.

Our client was a hard-working nurse, wife and mother who was injured in a rear-end collision.  As result of her injuries she was unable to return to work as a medical nurse, and instead was working in an administrative role when she was able to return to work.  This was a devastating blow to her emotionally, and impacted her financially as well.

Ms. Gurung’s judgement totalled $514,000 comprised of:

  • general damages for pain and suffering
  • past loss of earnings
  • future loss of opportunity to earn income
  • future cost of care
  • special damages for out-of-pocket expenses
