iPhone 16 AI Class Action
Background
On May 21, 2026, Hammerco Lawyers, in conjunction with the London Ontario-based law firm of McKenzie Lake Lawyers LLP, initiated a class action lawsuit against Apple Inc. and Apple Canada Inc. (collectively, “Apple”), alleging that AI features, characteristics, and capabilities advertised for iPhone 16 models (Regular, Plus, Pro, Pro Max, and 16e) were not as advertised. Advertisements regarding AI features, characteristics, and capabilities were later ceased entirely.
