Chief Operating Officer

Reporting primarily to the Managing Partner, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will focus on long-term strategic objectives and manage the day-to-day administrative matters of Hammerco, which includes accounting, human resources, office services, facilities management, IT, marketing and communications, and risk management. They will take the lead in bringing the firm’s big ideas to life, and will also work with the Associates in developing individual marketing plans and help to hone their business development skills.

The COO will be a big picture thinker who takes an interest in best practices and current trends in the management of law firms and is highly adept at presenting business cases to the partnership on new initiatives that will evolve Hammerco. They will have a natural affinity to marketing and business development and take the lead in developing an overall strategy for Hammerco, including future acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be very tech savvy and possess effective project management skills. Solid marketing acumen is essential.
